Taylor Swift's name in full is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 in West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became well-known as a songwriter and singer beginning in 2001, with her stories of heartbreak. Swift loved music since a young stage of her life. Swift swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning performing in theaters for children before singing before an audience of thousands. She was age 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a basketball game for the Philadelphia 76ers. in the next year she took up guitar and began writing songs. Swift got inspiration from musicians in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and, more recently, the Chicks in order to write original music that reflected the loneliness she felt at the age 13. At the age of 13, Swift's parents decided to sell their farm in Pennsylvania in order to relocate in Hendersonville Tennessee so she could dedicate more time to courting country labels located in the nearby city of Nashville.
